Servants
Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many- Mark 10:43-45
Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it."- Matthew 16:25
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working but the same God works all of them in all men. -1 Cor. 12:4-6
We are all given gifts, as 1 Corinthians 12 discusses. The gifts of prophecy, discipleship, empathy, etc... These gifts have been given to us, not for us to boast in, not to use in empty fun, not even necessarily for a career. Instead, they have been given to us to glorify the Lord with.
These are our weapons to fight with in the holy war. The Lord has equipped us with these to use for His purposes and they should be used in that sense.
We, in the Redemption Romparoo, have been blessed with the gifts of music and evangelism. God has shown us, through much time, patience, and conditioning, that He wants us to spread the music and words of His grace through this project.
